Good choice of gluten free pies and the best gluten free pastry I've had in a very long time! Choice of chips and peas or mash and veg on the side and gluten free gravy too. Lovely atmosphere eating in, with very friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Need to book/order in advance but highly recommend!
Spent one night in Porlock, came here as looked inviting and the reviews were positive. Had a lovely pie meal on a freezing day, fresh food cooked to order. Lovely beef and horseradish pie, packed full, crunchy veg and generous helping of gravy... accompanied by a great glass of merlot. Really enjoyed my meal and appreciated the warm welcome after a long journey. Thank you!
Had takeaway twice from Piggy in the Middle during our recent trip to Porlock and food was fantastic both times. Great fish and chips and the pies were the best we have ever tasted. Lovely cosy restaurant with a great choice of wines and beers if you choose to eat in too. Everything is cooked fresh to order so it is always best to book or phone in your order ahead of time. Looking forward to our next visit.
The quality of food is very good but you must remember to phone your order through in advance. It's not your traditional chippy but more a restaurant that does take away. The quoted opening times are when you collect and pay (cash only) for your order. You agree the pickup time when you place your order. There's no parking but there is a car park not too far away that is free after 6pm. Oh, did I mention the food is very good? Will definitely order again.
Absolutely fabulous. The Seafood basket, delicious, my husband had the Lamb and mint pie and he said it was fantastic. Can't fault the food, service or premises, so clean and friendly. I hope they remain for a very long time.
Gluten free pizza. Absolutely smashed it. Loved every bite. Thank you so much! 14 95p well spent
Quaint little place, chilled atmosphere and lovely food, decent menu for any tastes.
We'd been looking forward to popping in here since we found out about it. Decor fascinating, with many paintings. Music good, the kind of thing Elizabeth Alker might play on her known unknown sequence Saturday mornings. Food great: the seafood platter delicious. Order early though, and bring cash rather than card. Reasonable prices, friendly place to eat.
